Steven Acosta is the executive chef for The Balfour Hotel in Miami Beach. With a passion for tradition, chef Acosta brings a global perspective to the tastes and culinary wonder only found at The Balfour Hotel in South Beach.
We had breakfast on the outdoor front patio, a lovely experience and excellent service. It seemed like a special effort was being made to everyone there, including the restaurant manager stopping at our table. Would definitely go again when we are back in Miami.

Had a lovely dinner here, we had the salmon, the avocado salad, the tacos and fries and all were delicious – though the tacos were a little bland. We also had some delicious cocktails and the service was excellent, while the atmosphere was much nicer than many of the local restaurants.
I loved the passion fruit juice as well as lox, cream cheese & bagel. I’ll be coming back tomorrow for lunch
We had the pancakes, lox and bagels. Passion juice. All good. The servers were super friendly. The chef Steve came out to greet us. Very nice touch. He specializes in Latin cuisine. Taco Tuesday. We highly recommend trying [this] place. I know we will be coming back
We can highly recommend the restaurant! Brilliant delicious food and a super and nice executive chef Steven Acosta. We had the Wagy Beef and the Pork Belly. It was delicious. I have never had such good Pork Belly. We had a delicious red wine (Malbec) from Argentina to go with it. The food for the kids was also delicious and Steven was very flexible. The service was also super nice.
